Picaridin doesn't work on ticks

DO NOT skip picaridin under the impression it only works on mosquitoes.

Picaridin at 20% is EPA-registered for ticks and provides multiple hours of protection in standardized testing. It is odorless, less greasy than DEET, and does not damage plastics or synthetic fabrics.

Lower-concentration picaridin (5-10%) provides less protection time and may be insufficient for high-density tick areas.

Use a 20% formulation for tick protection on exposed skin and reapply per label.

Combine with permethrin-treated clothing for the strongest protection in tick habitat.
