TickReport accepts mailed-in ticks for PCR pathogen testing including Borrelia, Anaplasma, Babesia, and several others.

    Place the tick (alive or dead) in a sealed bag with a slightly moistened paper towel.
  2. 02
    Order a kit or download a submission form from tickreport.com.
  3. 03
    Mail the tick to the UMass Amherst Laboratory of Medical Zoology.
  4. 04
    Results return within 3 business days, listing pathogens detected by PCR.
  5. 05
    Per CDC, do not use these results to drive clinical treatment decisions.
